Genuine BMW Alcantara Flat-Bottom Steering Wheel for cars with paddle shift (M-DCT / DCT or Steptronic paddle-shift automatic transmission). This is the Genuine M Performance steering wheel with sporty flat bottom design, blue colored steering angle indicator stitched into the 12 o’clock position, covered in rich and supple Alcantara suede leather, and featuring tri-colored “M” color Motorsport stitching around the inner circumference of the steering wheel. This steering wheel is designed for cars with the round “Sport” airbag, and does not include an airbag. If your E9X or E8X car came with the round (circular shaped) air bag, then you will be able to reuse your original air bag with this wheel. You must reuse your factory shift paddles, which can easily be swapped from your stock wheel onto this M Sport wheel in minutes. This wheel does not include the multi-function buttons or the panel the buttons install to. You must reuse your stock multi-function buttons and panel from a stock Sport Package steering wheel. Does not support steering wheel heat — If you install this wheel, your heat function simply won’t function. There is no additional coding or programming required in this case. If you have a heated wheel, you may still prefer the look and feel of the suede over the heat functionality — and if you don’t have heat, then you don’t need to worry about this at all.
