This Omega 30T2 Chronomètre reference 2365 is a high grade chronometer wristwatch from the mid 1940’s and represents one of the most important chapters in Omega’s watchmaking history. Examples in untouched condition such as this are exceptionally difficult to find today.The unpolished 18k yellow gold case measures 33 mm and shows a magnificent natural gold patina, developed gradually over decades of careful preservation. While this surface oxidation could easily be removed within minutes. It emphasizes the untouched condition of the watch. The case was made by Antoine Gerlach (Geneva key no. 4), the renowned case maker who also produced cases for important Patek Philippe references such as the 96 and 570.The original egg shell glossy dial features enamel signature and minute track details, preserving the rich and warm appearance characteristic of high quality dials from the period. Applied 18k gold Arabic numerals complete the elegant and balanced layout.Power comes from the legendary Omega 30T2 Chronomètre movement, one of the brand’s most respected manual wind calibres, known for its precision and durability. The movement was serviced in February 2026. Produced circa 1944, this is an exceptional and historically important Omega with outstanding originality.
